Rajbari Records 15 New Dengue Hospitalizations in Past 24 Hours

Health authorities in Rajbari district have reported that fifteen new patients have been hospitalized with dengue over the past twenty-four hours. This notable influx highlights the ongoing public health challenge posed by the mosquito-borne illness in the region.

The updated figures regarding the spread of dengue and hospital admissions were officially disclosed on Saturday afternoon. According to the data released by the Rajbari Civil Surgeon's Office, the fresh cases have been distributed across various medical facilities within the district.

A breakdown of the admissions shows that Rajbari Sadar Hospital has received the highest number of new patients during this recent twenty-four-hour period, with eight individuals currently admitted for treatment. Meanwhile, the Balia Kandi Upazila Health Complex Hospital has reported two new patient admissions.

Additional cases are being managed at other local health centers across the district. Specifically, four patients are currently receiving medical care at the Goalanda hospital, while a single patient has been admitted to the Kalukhali hospital.

Cumulative data provided by the health authorities further illustrate the broader scope of the dengue situation in Rajbari this year. Since the beginning of the year, Rajbari Sadar Hospital has admitted and provided medical treatment to a total of fifty-two patients.

Additionally, various upazila health complex hospitals operating throughout the district have collectively treated one hundred and thirty-nine patients who were admitted for dengue over the course of the year. Health officials continue to monitor the situation across all affected sub-districts as patients seek medical attention at these local institutions.
