Police Arrest Man in Chittagong Over Murder of Hijra Leader Mousumi

Law enforcement authorities in the port city of Chittagong have successfully unraveled the mystery surrounding the tragic murder of a prominent local Hijra community leader. The victim, a 52-year-old individual known within the community as 'Guruma' Mousumi Hijra, was found dead inside her personal residence, sending shockwaves through the local community.

The grim discovery was made on Saturday morning when local authorities recovered the lifeless body of Mousumi Hijra. The deceased had been residing inside her home located within the Hijra colony, situated adjacent to the Ambagan railway colony under the jurisdiction of the Khulshi area in Chittagong.
