The government of Pakistan has officially condemned the military activities and attacks carried out by Houthi forces against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The official statement from Islamabad addresses a troubling escalation of hostilities across the region, highlighting the growing instability stemming from the ongoing conflict in Yemen and its spillover effects into neighboring territories.

Addressing the gravity of the situation on September 16, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad issued a formal assessment detailing the deteriorating security environment. According to Ahmad, the combination of heightened Houthi military operations inside Yemen, persistent assaults directed at Saudi Arabia, and recent armed clashes along the Red Sea coast has pushed the entire situation toward an extremely dangerous juncture.

This official commentary underscores the profound concern held by Pakistani authorities regarding the safety and security of Saudi Arabia amidst unrelenting projectile and armed threats.

In response to these developments, the government of Pakistan has reiterated its steadfast solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Alongside its condemnation of the Houthi offensive operations, Islamabad has made a firm and formal commitment to strengthen diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving a peaceful and stable resolution to the multifaceted crisis.

The diplomatic initiatives pledged by Pakistan are intended to support broader international and regional frameworks seeking to de-escalate tensions. By reinforcing diplomatic channels, Islamabad hopes to counter the destabilizing impact of the Red Sea maritime clashes and prevent further deterioration of security across the Arabian Peninsula.
