Nobinur and Antu take helm at Noakhali university column forum
Bangladesh Tarun Column Lekhok Forum has announced the new leadership for its Noakhali Science and Technology University branch for the 2026-27 term. Nakibul Haque has been named president and Mehedi Hasan Antu has been appointed general secretary.

The leadership for the Noakhali Science and Technology University branch of the Bangladesh Tarun Column Lekhok Forum has been officially announced for the 2026-27 operating period. According to the newly released details, the committee will be led by Nakibul Haque as president and Mehedi Hasan Antu as general secretary.
The announcement of the new executive committee was made through an official press release. This formal document bore the signatures of the central president, Md. Ruhul Amin, alongside the central general secretary, Saisha Sultana Sadia, confirming the legitimacy of the organizational appointments.
Regarding their academic backgrounds within the university, the newly appointed president Nakibul Haque is a student in the Department of Agriculture. Meanwhile, the newly appointed general secretary Mehedi Hasan Antu is pursuing his studies in the Department of Pharmacy.
Following his appointment, newly named president Nakibul Haque shared his perspective on taking over the role for the upcoming term. He stated that taking on responsibility is akin to holding a sacred trust, noting that he wants to adequately repay the faith placed in him by those who reposed their trust in his leadership. He further expressed his intention to make the activities of the Noakhali Science and Technology University branch more dynamic while simultaneously bringing prospective young writers into this platform.
Echoing similar sentiments about the new role, newly appointed general secretary Mehedi Hasan Antu described the position as much more than just an organizational title. He remarked that it represents a significant duty and stated his desire to work toward making the organization's activities more active, disciplined, and participatory. Furthermore, acknowledging the contributions of those who came before and after him, he expressed hope that he would continue to have the support of his seniors and juniors who have given their tireless labor to stand by the organization, while earnestly requesting everyone's prayers and cooperation.
