Nazmun Nahar explores Bhutan as the 185th country on her global journey

Bangladeshi global traveller Nazmun Nahar has reached Bhutan as the 185th country on her ongoing worldwide expedition, carrying the red and green flag of Bangladesh to new heights. Her extensive travels continue to inspire many as she adds more nations to her remarkable map of global exploration.

Her Bhutan expedition officially commenced on August 7, 2026, starting from the scenic valley of Paro. From the very beginning of this particular leg of her journey, she set out to explore the unique landscapes and cultural heritage of the Himalayan kingdom.

Throughout her travels in Bhutan, Nazmun Nahar traversed multiple notable locations across the country. Her route took her through Paro, Punakha, Thimphu, Wangdue Phodrang, Dochula, Bumthang, Phobjikha, and Ha Valley, allowing her to experience the diverse geography and traditions of the region firsthand.

During her expedition, she also engaged with local elements, including experiences related to Druk, further enriching her understanding of Bhutanese culture. Her journey highlighted various landmarks, including a site featuring 108 stupas, adding profound spiritual context to her travels.

This landmark journey reached a significant conclusion on August 18, 2026, when she successfully marked her presence in the 185th country of her global voyage.
