National University Rejects Rumours Over 2025 Honours First-Year Exam Routine

The National University in Bangladesh has officially addressed the widespread circulation of unverified information across various social media platforms regarding the newly scheduled dates for its postponed 2025 honours first-year examinations. In recent days, numerous online posts and unconfirmed routines began circulating online, causing confusion among students who are currently awaiting official updates concerning their academic schedules.

Amidst the growing speculation on digital platforms, the university administration has firmly rejected the authenticity of the circulated schedules. Authorities emphasized that these online notices do not originate from official channels and should be completely disregarded by the student body and the general public to prevent unnecessary panic or misinformation regarding the academic calendar.

Clarifying the official stance of the institution, Taiyeba Tasnim Siraj, the acting director of the public relations department at the National University, formally addressed the situation. Speaking on Saturday, August 29, she confirmed that the process of determining the new dates for the previously postponed examinations has not yet reached its completion.

Director Taiyeba Tasnim Siraj explicitly stated that any schedules currently being shared across social media networks are entirely baseless. Her official statement serves as a direct warning to students and observers to rely solely on official university communications for accurate updates rather than unverified online rumours.

The university has reiterated that as soon as the revised timetable is officially finalized through proper administrative channels, it will be formally announced to the public. Until such an official announcement is made, students are advised to remain patient and ignore all speculative schedules currently active on the internet.
