Month-Long Islamic Book Fair Begins at Baitul Mukarram

A month-long Islamic book fair has officially commenced at the eastern and southern courtyards of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka. The inauguration of this extensive literary event took place on Friday, 11 September 2026, coinciding with the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) for the year 1448 Hijri. This significant cultural and religious gathering has drawn considerable attention from publishers and readers alike who have gathered at the prominent national mosque premises.

The comprehensive book fair has been organized specifically by the publication division of the Islamic Foundation. Through this initiative, the Foundation aims to promote Islamic literature and provide a platform for readers to access a wide variety of religious texts and publications during this auspicious holy occasion. A total of 206 institutions are participating in the month-long exhibition.
