MBSTU Student Faces Transcript Trouble Over Three Taka Library Fine

A student at Maulana Bhashani Science and Technology University recently encountered administrative complications while attempting to collect his academic transcript. The issue arose due to an unpaid library fine amounting to just three taka, which created unexpected hurdles during the document retrieval process.
The affected student has been identified as Spell Chakma, who is enrolled at Maulana Bhashani Science and Technology University. According to the confirmed details of the incident, the situation originated back in the year 2022 when Chakma borrowed a book from the university library. He ultimately returned the borrowed item to the library authorities, but the return was completed three days past the officially designated deadline.
Because the book was returned three days late, a formal library fine of three taka was recorded against his account. However, this minor financial liability went unsettled at the time, leading to complications much later when the student sought to obtain essential academic records from the institution.
The complication came to a head on the eighth of September. On this date, Spell Chakma went to the university offices to collect his academic transcript, only to discover that the three taka library due had not been cleared. Consequently, he faced official delays and bureaucratic hurdles in securing his clearance documentation.
To resolve the unexpected obstruction and successfully obtain his necessary transcript, the student had to address the outstanding university fee. Following the procedures required by the institution, he deposited the three taka fine at the designated bank and subsequently secured his official library clearance.
