Mason Ekram shot by miscreants in Cox's Bazar

In an incident that has caused concern among local residents, a young man working as a mason was shot by unidentified miscreants in Cox's Bazar. The violent episode took place on September 1 in the Sahityikapalli area, which is situated directly adjacent to the local City College within the Cox's Bazar municipal area.

The victim has been identified as Ekram, who earns his living as a mason and is the son of Jalal Ahmed. According to the confirmed details of the incident, miscreants targeted Ekram and fired a shot directly into his abdomen, leaving him with severe injuries that required immediate medical intervention.

Following the shooting, local individuals rushed the wounded mason to the Cox's Bazar District Sadar Hospital for emergency medical treatment. Given the severity of the gunshot wound to his abdomen, medical professionals at the district facility determined that he required advanced care and subsequently transferred him to the Chattogram Medical College (CMCH) Hospital.
