A violent dispute over cutting grass for cattle resulted in the tragic death of a man named Niloy Sarkar in Gazipur district. The incident took place around 11:30 AM on Saturday in the Dakhshinpara area of Kapasia upazila, sending shockwaves through the local community as details of the fatal confrontation emerged.
According to the verified facts of the incident, the altercation began over the routine task of harvesting grass to feed cattle. The situation quickly escalated, leading to a physical confrontation where Niloy Sarkar was brutally attacked with a sharp weapon by his cousin, Russell, during the heated argument.
Following the severe assault, family members and locals rushed the critically injured Niloy Sarkar to a nearby medical facility for urgent medical intervention. He was transported to the Shahid Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital in a desperate bid to save his life, but the severity of the wounds proved fatal.
Upon arrival at the hospital, the on-duty medical professionals examined the victim and officially declared Niloy Sarkar dead. The medical confirmation of his death marked a grim conclusion to the morning dispute that had begun over agricultural tasks in the Dakhshinpara area.
Law enforcement authorities from the Kapasia Police Station have since launched an investigation into the homicide. Meanwhile, the primary suspect, Russell, has gone into hiding and remains completely at large since the immediate aftermath of the fatal Saturday morning attack.
