Malaysia Healthcare Week Debuts in Chattogram Amid Expansion Plans
The Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council is organizing Malaysia Healthcare Week in Chattogram for the first time. The initiative is part of broader campaigns in Bangladesh, which include participation in the upcoming 13th Asian Tourism Fair in Dhaka.
The Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) is organizing Malaysia Healthcare Week in Chattogram for the very first time, marking a significant milestone in health tourism engagement between the two regions. This prominent promotional event highlights the growing collaboration and cross-border medical interest involving Malaysian healthcare providers and patients from Bangladesh.
As part of these ongoing promotional campaigns in Bangladesh, MHTC recently held a formal meeting with the Health and Family Welfare Minister, Sardar M. Sakhawat Hossain. The high-level discussions focused on strengthening bilateral medical ties and enhancing healthcare cooperation between Malaysia and Bangladesh.
To support these comprehensive September programs, a total of five top healthcare institutions from Malaysia are actively participating. The delegation includes renowned specialized facilities such as the Alpha IVF Specialist Center, IHH Healthcare Malaysia, KL Fertility and Gynecology Centre, Sunway Medical Centre, and KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital.
Following the events in Chattogram, the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council will extend its presence to the capital city. MHTC is scheduled to participate in the upcoming 13th Asian Tourism Fair, which will take place in Dhaka from 17 to 19 September, further showcasing its comprehensive medical tourism offerings to a broader audience.
