Dhaka to host 13th Asian Tourism Fair with 10 countries

The 13th edition of the Asian Tourism Fair (ATF) is set to be held in Dhaka at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) from September 17 to September 19, 2026. This major international tourism event brings together stakeholders from across the region to showcase tourism products, foster business cooperation, and explore investment opportunities within the sector.

A total of 10 countries, including Bangladesh, are participating in the upcoming tourism fair. The exhibition will feature more than 200 institutions spread across approximately 300 booths, providing a comprehensive platform for industry professionals, travel enthusiasts, and businesses to connect and exchange insights.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has been named the title sponsor for the 13th Asian Tourism Fair, while Crown Plaza Dhaka Airport is serving as the platinum partner. The event receives significant backing from key state bodies, including the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, the Bangladesh Tourism Board, and the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, alongside industry groups such as the Aviation and Travel Journalists Forum of Bangladesh (ATJFB) and Chhuti Group.

Speaking about the significance of the event, Mohiuddin Helal stated that ATF 2026 will play a crucial role in fostering business cooperation among domestic and foreign tourism stakeholders, promoting tourism products, and creating new opportunities for tourism investment in Bangladesh. Echoing this sentiment, Md. Samimuzzaman noted that such international fairs are vital for the development of the country's tourism industry, adding that the coordinated participation of both the public and private sectors will help project Bangladesh's tourism potential and investment prospects onto the global stage.

For members of the public wishing to attend the exhibition, the admission fee has been fixed at 30 taka. In addition to exploring the diverse tourism offerings across the nearly 300 booths, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle draw by using their entry coupons during the three-day fair.
