Land Records Department Concludes Orientation for New Officials

On August 27, the Department of Land Records and Surveys hosted the closing ceremony of the orientation course for its newly appointed officials. The event took place at the conference room of the Department of Land Records and Surveys located in Dhaka, bringing together key participants and department representatives to mark the conclusion of the training programme.
During the event, A S M Saleh Ahmed addressed the gathering regarding the recruitment process and professional expectations. He noted that the entire job acquisition and recruitment process was completed with complete transparency. Through this transparent framework, young talents are receiving the opportunity to serve the country based strictly on their merits. He further stressed that to uphold the dignity of this transparency, officials must carry out their duties with utmost honesty and dedication throughout their careers.
Addressing the nature of the sector, A S M Saleh Ahmed remarked that land management is an extremely complex matter. He pointed out that land-related laws and ownership structures have undergone various changes over different periods of time. To address these complexities, he highlighted that land services are currently being digitised so that citizens can conveniently access public services right from their homes.
The government is placing a strong emphasis on digital and automated service systems to ensure that the overall land management system remains one hundred percent free from corruption and harassment. These ongoing administrative reforms aim to streamline operations and improve citizens' daily experiences when interacting with land administration offices across the country.
As part of the broader effort to enhance accessibility and public support, several dedicated communication channels remain operational.
