A tense situation has developed surrounding a contested residential property in the Bandar Thana area involving allegations of land and house grabbing, alongside physical assault. The dispute centers on a piece of land and a house that are currently the subject of ongoing legal proceedings in court, meaning the ownership and possession rights are actively being contested through formal judicial channels.

Despite the active legal process concerning the property, former councillor Hannan and a group of his associates reportedly entered the house. According to the documented accounts of the incident, Hannan was accompanied by eight to ten associates when they gained entry into the disputed premises, raising significant concerns among the residents and parties involved in the ongoing court case.

During the unfolding events at the location, physical assault was also alleged to have taken place, intensifying the severity of the situation within the local community. The confrontation drew attention to the sensitive nature of property disputes that remain unresolved by the judicial system, particularly when parties attempt to bypass court proceedings through direct action on the ground.

In connection with the unfolding incidents at the property, law enforcement intervention followed as local authorities became involved. Police personnel from the Bandar police station arrived at the scene, and during their response, Beauty Akter's sister was detained by the police and taken to the police station for reasons related to the ongoing disturbance.

When questioned regarding the controversial entry into the premises and the subsequent takeover allegations, Hannan defended the action by offering a direct statement. Addressing the situation surrounding the property, Hannan remarked, "Whose house is it, they have taken possession of it," maintaining that the entry aligned with rightful ownership claims.

The local police administration, led by the Bandar Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC), remains involved as the situation continues to unfold. With the legal process still active in court and various allegations of assault and detention now documented, authorities are monitoring the developments surrounding the disputed property in the Bandar Thana area.
