Kuwait Expatriate Accuses Swechasebak Dal Leader of Eloping with Wife and Wealth
A Kuwait-based expatriate has lodged formal complaints against a local Swechasebak Dal leader and lawyer for allegedly eloping with his wife and stealing massive wealth. The aggrieved husband is demanding justice after claiming the accused absconded with 11.05 million taka and significant gold ornaments.
In an alarming development coming out of Narsingdi on August 24, 2026, a Kuwait expatriate named Md. Lutfar Rahman has filed formal written complaints against a local political leader and lawyer, Nayan Molla. According to the allegations brought forward by the expatriate, Nayan Molla—who is identified as a leader of Swechasebak Dal—has allegedly eloped with Mr. Rahman's wife, Hafsa Begum, taking advantage of the husband's absence abroad.
The gravity of the situation extends beyond domestic grievances into serious financial accusations. Md. Lutfar Rahman has claimed that during this sudden departure, the accused individuals made off with his hard-earned savings accumulated over years of labor in Kuwait. Specifically, the expatriate alleges that the perpetrators stole 1 crore 10 lakh cash alongside 35 bhori of gold ornaments, leaving his family deeply impacted.
Amidst the turmoil, the personal fallout has directly affected the couple's children. The situation involves an 11-year-old boy and an 8-month-old baby girl, whose lives have been severely disrupted by the unfolding events. Seeking official intervention and redress, the distressed father has formally reached out to multiple authorities across the administrative and legal spectrums.
Documentation of the grievances has been officially submitted to several key offices in Narsingdi and Dhaka. These include the Narsingdi Model Police Station, the offices of the Deputy Commissioner and the Superintendent of Police, as well as the Narsingdi District Bar Association and the Bangladesh Bar Council, seeking immediate institutional action against the accused lawyer.
Responding to the severe allegations brought against one of its members, the leadership of the local legal community has acknowledged receipt of the paperwork. Adv. Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan, President of the Narsingdi District Bar Association, formally confirmed that an official complaint has been received by the association and stated that if the allegations are proven during proceedings, disciplinary action including expulsion will follow.
Meanwhile, the accused, Nayan Molla, has vehemently denied all accusations brought against him by the expatriate family. Dismissing the claims entirely, Nayan Molla stated, 'The allegations against me are entirely fabricated and baseless, and I am not currently associated with any political party.'
