Khulna University Set for 7th Convocation in January 2027

The seventh convocation of Khulna University has been officially scheduled to take place on January 18, 2027. The formal approval for this upcoming academic milestone was granted by the Chancellor and President, marking a significant upcoming event for the institution.

Ahead of the official announcement regarding the convocation date, the university's leadership engaged in high-level discussions in the capital. Professor Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim, the Vice-Chancellor of Khulna University, traveled to Dhaka to meet with the President.

During this official engagement, which took place on a Monday at the historic Bangabhaban, the vice-chancellor paid a courtesy call to the head of state. The meeting served as a platform to discuss various academic matters and secure the necessary presidential consent for the university's seventh convocation ceremony.

The discussions at Bangabhaban also highlighted the broader academic and strategic significance of the institution located in the southwestern region of the country. Officials noted that the university holds substantial potential for practical research tailored to regional and national challenges.
