Journalist Rasel Haque assaulted in Lalmonirhat; police receive complaints

Rasel Haque, who serves as the district correspondent for the newspaper Dainik Dabanol, has become the victim of a violent attack in Lalmonirhat. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the railway open stage area located within Lalmonirhat town, creating widespread concern among local media workers and the general public regarding the safety of journalists.

According to the confirmed details of the incident, the journalist was physically attacked during the afternoon at the aforementioned railway open stage area. Following the assault, local people who were present at the scene intervened to rescue him from the attackers and subsequently arranged for his admission to a hospital so he could receive necessary medical treatment.

In the wake of the assault, visual documentation of the violent event has emerged publicly. A video capturing aspects of the incident has successfully circulated across various social media platforms, drawing further attention to the circumstances surrounding the attack on the Dainik Dabanol district correspondent.
