Jessore Court Building Gets Tk 2.37 Crore for Renovation

The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has officially sanctioned an allocation of Tk 2.37 crore for the comprehensive repair, preservation of old heritage, and infrastructural development of the historic Jessore District and Sessions Judge Court. This vital financial grant, announced on 10 September 2026 in Jessore, marks a significant step forward in addressing the long-standing infrastructural needs of the judicial premises.

According to the confirmed details of the project, the newly allocated funds will be strictly utilized to execute essential renovation and repair works across the court building. Furthermore, the comprehensive development plan specifically includes the reconstruction of three crucial courtroom halls, which are expected to greatly improve the daily operational capacity and working environment of the judicial proceedings within the district.

The initiative to restore the old and traditional court building has generated immense enthusiasm and appreciation among local stakeholders and legal figures.
