IDP Study World Roadshow Held in Dhaka for Higher Education Aspirants

The capital city of Dhaka recently hosted the 'IDP Study World Roadshow' at the InterContinental hotel, drawing significant attention from students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad. The exhibition, which took place yesterday Saturday, served as a comprehensive platform for prospective scholars to explore academic opportunities overseas and interact directly with institutional representatives.

Organized by IDP, the roadshow featured participation from more than 40 universities representing various countries across the globe. Among the participating institutions, the event specifically hosted eight universities from the United Kingdom, seventeen universities from Canada, twelve universities from the United States, and five universities from Malaysia, offering a diverse array of global academic choices for local attendees.

Despite a strong and visible enthusiasm among students regarding higher education overseas, financial constraints continue to pose a major challenge. Consultations at the venue highlighted that arranging adequate funds and managing overall living and tuition expenses remain a massive source of anxiety for students and their families who wish to study abroad.

To help alleviate some of these financial hurdles, the roadshow provided guidance on potential financial provisions, noting that scholarships and funding options can reach up to a maximum of 2.5 million Taka. This information aimed to assist attendees in navigating the substantial costs associated with international academic programs.

The event was attended by numerous visitors, students, and notable individuals, including Abdul Alim Raj, Naimur Wajid, and Ammar Bin Anis. Furthermore, participants and attendees at the roadshow included representatives from various prominent educational institutions such as Dhaka Central University, BRAC University, and Alia Madrasah.
