HSC Special Exam and MIST Admission Dates Announced
A special HSC exam for students affected by adverse weather is set for August 24. Meanwhile, the MIST admission tests for the 2026-27 academic year begin on December 18.

DHAKA — Authorities have officially announced the schedule for a special Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination following disruptions caused by adverse weather conditions. The upcoming assessment has been arranged specifically for those candidates who were unable to participate in their scheduled tests due to severe weather events that occurred on July 13.
According to the official notification issued on Thursday, August 20, the special examination will take place on August 24. The announcement was formally authorized and signed by Professor Jasmine Taslima Banu, the Controller of Examinations at the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka.
The venue designated for conducting this special test is the Begum Badrunnessa Government Girls' College center located in the capital city of Dhaka. All concerned candidates who missed the July 13 examination due to weather disruptions are required to report to this specific center by 10:00 AM on the morning of August 24.
In a separate academic development, the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) has released the timeline for its upcoming admission tests. The entrance examinations for the 2026-27 academic session are scheduled to commence officially on December 18, starting with the Science group under 'C' Unit.
