Google Search adds AI fantasy football consultant and Live Game Feed

Google has announced a major update to Google Search designed to enhance the digital sports viewing and management experience for fans across the United States. The technology giant is introducing a new capability that utilizes an artificial intelligence mode to act as a personalized fantasy football consultant directly within the search platform.

As part of this new functionality, users are now able to seamlessly connect their existing Yahoo Fantasy or Sleeper accounts to Google Search. By linking these third-party fantasy sports platforms, participants can leverage Google's updated systems to help manage their rosters, analyze matchups, and receive tailored insights for their respective fantasy leagues.

Alongside the AI fantasy consultant, Google is rolling out a comprehensive Live Game Feed within Search. This newly developed feature is built to display real-time live scores, detailed game recaps, thorough play-by-play updates, and video highlights for ongoing sporting events as they happen.

These newly introduced fantasy football features and the Live Game Feed are currently available in the English language within the United States. Google has also confirmed that broader search results featuring the new score carousel and player statistics will be rolled out globally exclusively on mobile devices.
