Goalanda Upazila Krishak Samiti holds protest rally for 10 demands

On September 10, the Goalanda Upazila Krishak Samiti organized a notable protest rally and subsequently submitted a formal memorandum in Goalanda, Rajbari. The demonstration was centered around a set of ten specific demands put forward by the organization on behalf of the local farming community.

The day's events commenced in the afternoon with a street rally held at the Shaheed Muktijoddha Fakir Mohiuddin Ansar Club premises in Goalanda. Members and supporters gathered at this designated location to voice their concerns and highlight the ten-point charter of demands before proceeding further with their scheduled program.

Following the street gathering at the club premises, the participants of the Goalanda Upazila Krishak Samiti formed a procession. They marched through various prominent streets and thoroughfares of the town, drawing public attention to the grievances and requirements of the region's agricultural workers.

The demonstration culminated with the leadership and members of the Upazila Krishak Samiti reaching the local administration offices. There, they officially handed over the memorandum containing their ten demands to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Goalanda for review and subsequent action.
