Fourth SDS Debate Festival and Workshop Held in Panchagarh
The two-day Fourth SDS Debate Festival and Workshop 2026 has concluded at the Sonahar Girls' High School premises in Debiganj upazila, Panchagarh. The event brought together 270 students from various educational institutions across the upazila to foster reasoning and leadership skills.

The Fourth SDS Debate Festival and Workshop 2026 took place on Saturday at the Sonahar Girls' High School premises located in Debiganj upazila of Panchagarh district. This prominent two-day event drew the participation of 270 students representing numerous educational institutions throughout the local upazila.
Organized by the Sonahar Debating Society, the festival and workshop operated under the supervision and coordination of several supporting organizations, including the National Debate Federation Bangladesh (NDF BD), Student Force BD, and Golden Residential School and Model Madrasah.
Highlighting the broader educational value of the gathering, Rajjak Dulal emphasized the developmental impact of such academic exercises on young minds. He stated, “Debate practice makes students fact-based, logical, and confident. Through this, leadership qualities and the ability to make positive decisions in real life also increase. Such events play an important role in building the new generation as humane and conscious citizens.”
