Four Members of Teacher's Family Murdered in Rangpur

Police have arrested two individuals in connection with the horrific murder of retired teacher Ganapati Chakraborty and three other members of his family in Rangpur. The victim's elder brother, Gopinath Chakraborty, filed a murder case at the police station following the incident.

In a deeply shocking incident in Rangpur, a retired teacher named Ganapati Chakraborty along with three other members of his teacher family have been brutally murdered. The targeted victims included Ganapati Chakraborty, Pritilata Chakraborty, Agami Chakraborty Prarthi, and Ayush Chakraborty Priyam, among the wider circle of family and acquaintances mentioned in the case context involving Debu, Shanta, Shimanta, Purnima Kaki, and Sanatan Chakraborty.

Local law enforcement agencies, including the police and metropolitan detective police, launched a swift investigation into the gruesome killings that have left the local community in profound grief and shock. Through their rigorous inquiry and operations, the authorities successfully tracked down and arrested two suspects identified as Siddharth Das and Mugdha Das in connection with the multiple homicides.

Following their apprehension by the law enforcement personnel, the two arrested suspects, Siddharth Das and Mugdha Das, were produced before the judicial authorities. Both individuals gave voluntary and detailed confessional statements under Section 164, admitting their direct involvement in the brutal killing of the four family members in Rangpur.

Investigators probing the horrific crime established that the perpetrators consumed eight pieces of Yaba pills prior to executing the attack. Furthermore, the official police findings and case records confirmed that the criminals looted an amount of 15,000 Taka from the victims' household during the commission of the deadly assault.

In the wake of the tragedy, the victim Ganapati Chakraborty's elder brother, Gopinath Chakraborty, stepped forward to seek justice for the slain family members. He formally lodged a murder case at the local police station, setting the stage for the formal legal proceedings against all responsible parties.
