Farhad Hossain Azad Assures Adequate Fertilizer Supply Across Bangladesh

State Minister Farhad Hossain Azad has announced that there is an adequate supply and reserve of fertilizer across the entire country, including the Panchagarh region. During his official remarks, the state minister addressed the current agricultural situation and sought to reassure farmers and the public regarding the availability of essential agricultural inputs.

Despite the confirmed surplus in national reserves, the state minister highlighted significant administrative and operational bottlenecks on the ground. Specifically, he pointed out that various complications are currently being created in the distribution process, preventing fertilizers from reaching the hands of the actual farmers in a proper and timely manner.

Elaborating on the root cause of these distribution hurdles, Farhad Hossain Azad accused a section of authorized fertilizer dealers of failing to discharge their duties properly. According to the state minister, this specific group of dealers is deliberately not distributing the fertilizer among farmers in the appropriate and mandated manner.

Consequently, the deliberate withholding or misdirection of supplies by these dealers has resulted in the creation of an artificial crisis within the agricultural sector. The state minister's disclosures bring to light the systemic challenges faced by cultivators who rely on fair and transparent access to fertilizers to sustain their crop yields and agricultural production.
