Elita Kingsley Debuts as Coach as Chittagong City Defeated 6-0

Elita Kingsley has officially made his debut in the dugout as a head coach, taking charge of Chittagong City FC for the first time. The momentous occasion for the 36-year-old took place at the Bashundhara Kings Arena, marking a brand-new chapter in his ongoing career within the footballing world.

However, the managerial debut did not go according to plan for the newly appointed coach. Chittagong City FC suffered a comprehensive and heavy 6-0 defeat at the hands of Fortis FC, exposing the stark challenges facing the team early in the competitive season.

Reflecting on his transition from the pitch to the technical area, Elita Kingsley candidly addressed his fresh status in the sport. He noted that he had never served as a coach prior to this year, stating that he has only just begun in this unfamiliar and demanding new role.

Elita Kingsley also pointed to severe preparation hurdles ahead of the fixture. He explained that before playing this match, the squad managed to complete only a single pre-season training session, emphasizing that stepping onto the field with just one session is simply not sustainable in professional football.
