Elita Kingsley Moves From Bangladesh Footballer to Coach

Elita Kingsley has officially made the transition from playing professional football in Bangladesh to working as a coach, taking on the position of assistant coach for the domestic football newcomer team Chattogram City FC. Kingsley originally arrived in Bangladesh in 2011 to begin his playing career, subsequently spending a decade competing in the country's domestic football leagues.

During his extensive playing career in the South Asian nation, Kingsley represented Bangladesh in two international matches. His deep integration into the local community included marrying a Bengali woman named Liza, a step that eventually led to him becoming a Bangladeshi citizen.

Building upon his long-term experience on the pitch, Kingsley has now earned an AFC C-license, qualifying him to step into professional coaching roles within the sport. This certification has enabled him to take charge of Chattogram City FC as they prepare for their upcoming fixtures in the domestic league.

Speaking about his new professional chapter, Elita Kingsley expressed enthusiasm and commitment to his leadership role within the organization. "Yes, I have started working as a coach in the professional league. I will try my best to take the team forward," he stated regarding his new coaching responsibilities.

With the squad currently in a transitional phase awaiting leadership from abroad, Kingsley has stepped up to direct daily preparations on the pitch. Nazim Uddin elaborated on the team's immediate training schedule, noting, "Before our coach from Chile arrives, Kingsley is conducting the training. For now, the team is on the field centered around him."
