On August 30, an initiative was officially launched to arrange proper medical treatment for a sick child named Jannatul Ferdous. The development comes after a video featuring the child's family circulated on social media, drawing widespread attention and ultimately reaching Dr. Zubaida Rahman.

Upon noticing the video on social media, Dr. Zubaida Rahman immediately gave directives to inquire about the condition and treatment of the child. To oversee the process, she instructed Professor Dr. Shah Muhammad Aman Ullah, the program director of ZRF who is attached to the Prime Minister's Office. Following these instructions, communication with the hospital was promptly initiated, and preparations were made to ensure the child receives necessary medical care.

As part of the ongoing response, SM Monirul Hasan Bappi, the administrator of the Zila Parishad, visited the Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit of Khulna Medical College Hospital (Khulna Medical College Hospital) on Sunday afternoon. During the visit, he met with the hospitalized child, Jannatul Ferdous, and her mother, Azmira Begum, after being contacted regarding the matter on Saturday night.

Detailing the severity of the situation, the child's mother, Azmira Begum, stated that running the treatment had become impossible due to a lack of money. She explained that two days prior, a gentleman posted a video that subsequently went viral, after which district council administrator SM Monirul Hasan Bappi came to check on them and assured them of full support to restore her health.

SM Monirul Hasan Bappi confirmed that he spoke directly with the physicians, the victimized child, and her mother upon learning of the situation. He assured that all kinds of administrative and financial cooperation, alongside the formation of a medical board, would be provided from their side for the swift recovery of Jannatul.

Providing further details on the medical steps, Dr. MR Hasan noted that a special medical board will be formed on Monday to ensure advanced medical care for Jannatul. Medical evaluations at the Khulna Medical College Hospital unit indicate that Jannatul's two legs have become paralyzed, and she has developed nerve complications along with bed sores.
