A tragic motorcycle accident in Gaibandha's Gobindaganj upazila has claimed the life of a 30-year-old man named Shawon. The incident took place on Monday at approximately 10:30 AM along the Gobindaganj-Rajabirat regional highway in the Islampur Karenter Mor area.

According to local accounts, Shawon originally hailed from Daridaha Sardarpara village under Bogura's Mokamtala upazila. He had reportedly been travelling on his motorcycle on Monday morning with the specific intention of filming video content to upload and share on the social media platform Facebook.

Abdul Alim provided details regarding the circumstances leading up to the fatal crash, stating that Shawon frequently made video content for publication on Facebook. Alim noted that in continuation of this routine, the young man had set out on his motorcycle on Monday morning to create more content.

However, while journeying along the regional highway, Shawon lost control of his motorcycle. The vehicle veered off the road and collided violently with a tree standing on the roadside, resulting in fatal injuries that caused him to die instantly at the scene of the accident.

Following the incident, local authorities responded to the scene to handle the aftermath. Muhammad Mozammel Haque, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gobindaganj Police Station, officially confirmed the details surrounding the fatal motorcycle crash to the public.

Providing an update on the official police response, Officer-in-Charge Muhammad Mozammel Haque stated that the body of the deceased had been successfully recovered and brought to the police station. He further confirmed that the body would be formally handed over to Shawon's grieving relatives after all necessary legal procedures are duly completed.
