Five days after the body of an unidentified woman was discovered in a jungle area in Shibchar upazila of Madaripur district, local authorities have made a grim new discovery. The authorities successfully recovered the semi-decomposed body of her one-year-old child from the Arial Kha river on Monday, according to reports provided by Mozammel Haque based on related news coverage.

The tragic sequence of events began with the initial discovery of the mother's body in the Shibchar upazila area of Madaripur. Following investigations into the woman's background, authorities confirmed that the victim's permanent home address was located in the Lalpur police station area within Natore district. However, the exact circumstances leading up to the deaths of both the mother and the infant remain a focus of the ongoing police investigation.

In response to the tragic discoveries, a joint operation involving the local police and members of the elite law enforcement unit RAB-8 was launched to apprehend suspects linked to the case. During the course of their operations, the joint team successfully arrested a man named Faruk Molla from the Rajoir area. Authorities are continuing their inquiries to determine the full scope of the incident.

Local administrative and investigative bodies, including the Shibchar police station and naval police units, have been actively involved in managing the aftermath of the recoveries. The bodies and related evidence have been handled in coordination with medical facilities such as the Madaripur 250-bed District Hospital, where formal procedures regarding the deceased are typically managed.

As the investigation progresses, law enforcement agencies are piecing together the timeline and details surrounding the deaths of the mother from Natore and her one-year-old child. Further updates are expected as the detained suspect, Faruk Molla, undergoes interrogation by the investigating authorities following his arrest in Rajoir.
