Nurul Islam Monir, the Chief Whip of the National Parliament, has officially departed from Bangladesh to perform Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Accompanied by his wife, he left the capital city to undertake the holy pilgrimage as part of his scheduled travel plans.
The departure took place on Monday, September 14. According to the confirmed travel details, Mr. Monir and his wife headed to the airport in Dhaka to catch their scheduled international connection to the Middle East.
The journey commenced during the evening hours at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. Specifically, the Chief Whip boarded the flight at approximately 6:10 PM local time to begin his journey abroad.
For this official and personal travel, the National Parliament Chief Whip utilized the national flag carrier. He departed from the Dhaka airport on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight, specifically utilizing flight number BG-337.
Following the completion of his religious rituals and pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, the Chief Whip is scheduled to travel back to Bangladesh. According to the itinerary, he will return to the country on September 20.
