Bengal Commercial Bank Opens 37th Branch in Dhaka's Mohakhali

Bengal Commercial Bank has officially expanded its nationwide banking network by opening its 37th branch in Dhaka. The new branch is located at the Civil Engineers Building on Bir Uttam AK Khandakar Road in the Mohakhali area of the capital.

Md. Jashim Uddin, the chairman of Bengal Commercial Bank, attended the inauguration ceremony as the chief guest to formally open the new banking facility. The event brought together several notable figures from the organization, including Managing Director and CEO K M Awlad Hossain, who presided over the opening ceremony.

Several other officials and guests were also present at the inauguration, including Md. Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury, Atiqur Rahman, Nasim Sikder, and Md. Humayun Kabir. Representatives from Standard Group, including Director Md. Humayun Kabir, participated in the event to mark the establishment of the bank's latest branch.

During the inaugural ceremony, the bank's leadership highlighted their strategic focus on the country's economic development. Addressing the gathering, Chairman Md. Jashim Uddin stated that the SME sector plays a vital role in the national economy. He assured that the bank would bring entrepreneurs from this crucial sector under banking services to help them expand their businesses.

Echoing the chairman's sentiments, Managing Director K M Awlad Hossain reaffirmed the institution's core operational goals. He stated that Bengal Commercial Bank remains firmly committed to ensuring modern, reliable, and customer-friendly banking services for all clients.

As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, the financial institution has outlined further growth targets. Bengal Commercial Bank has announced plans to launch another 10 new branches and sub-branches in various locations across the country within the current year.
