Nagad and Bengal Commercial Bank Sign Strategic Partnership in Dhaka
Bengal Commercial Bank PLC and mobile financial service provider Nagad have signed a strategic partnership agreement. The signing ceremony took place at the bank's head office in Gulshan, Dhaka.

A strategic partnership agreement has been officially signed between Bengal Commercial Bank PLC and the postal department's mobile financial service, Nagad. This significant corporate development brings together a prominent commercial bank and a leading mobile financial service provider to enhance digital financial services in the country, operating under the regulatory framework involving Bangladesh Bank.
The formal signing ceremony was organized at the main corporate office of Bengal Commercial Bank, located in the diplomatic and commercial hub of Gulshan in Dhaka. The venue played host to key executives from both organizations as they gathered to finalize the collaborative framework between the banking institution and the mobile financial service.
During the event, the agreement was formally executed by the top leadership of both entities. Bengal Commercial Bank PLC was represented by its Managing Director, K. M. Awlad Hossain, while the mobile financial service provider Nagad was represented by its Administrator, Md. Motasim Billah, who jointly signed the official documents to launch the partnership.
Highlighting the strategic potential of this collaboration, Nagad Administrator Md. Motasim Billah stated that by utilizing the extensive network of Nagad, financial institutions such as Bengal Commercial Bank will be empowered to deliver a variety of services, including nano loans, EMI options, and DPS facilities to the public.
Echoing these sentiments, Bengal Commercial Bank Managing Director K. M. Awlad Hossain remarked that this newly formed partnership will make digital financial transactions significantly simpler, faster, and more secure by successfully creating enhanced opportunities for customer deposits and credit facilities.
