Education authorities in Bangladesh have officially published the first-phase selection results for class XI admission for the 2026-27 academic year. The much-anticipated results were made public on 16 September 2026 at approximately 8:00 PM, marking a crucial milestone for nearly one million students seeking higher secondary education across the country.
According to the official figures released for the current 2026-27 academic session, a staggering 9,95,234 students have formally applied for admission into class XI. To ensure a fair and structured selection process, specific allocation policies have been put in place for these applicants, designating 7 percent of seats to remain reserved under quota provisions, while the remaining 93 percent of seats will stay completely open for all students based purely on merit.
The application window leading up to this initial selection process began online on 2 September and successfully concluded on 13 September at 8:00 PM. Following the publication of the results on 16 September, students who have been successfully selected in this initial phase now face a strict deadline to secure their placement.
Selected applicants are required to pay the prescribed registration fee and finalize their admission confirmation by 8:00 PM on 18 September. For those hoping for alternative placements, the results for the first-phase migration process are scheduled to be announced on 19 September at 8:00 PM.
Following the completion of the selection, fee payment, and migration stages, academic activities for the newly admitted students are officially scheduled to commence on 23 September.
