Bangladesh National Museum Declares Every Tuesday as Children's Day

The Bangladesh National Museum in Dhaka has officially declared every Tuesday as 'Children's Day' in a significant move to encourage educational and cultural engagement among young learners. Under this newly introduced initiative, students ranging from nursery class up to the tenth grade, along with their respective teachers, are granted the opportunity to visit the national museum entirely free of charge every single week.

To ensure that the young visitors have an enriching and welcoming experience, the museum authorities have arranged specific visiting hours for this dedicated day. The free museum tours are scheduled to take place every Tuesday, with the visiting time officially commencing in the morning at half-past ten and continuing through the afternoon until four o'clock.

As part of the welcoming arrangements on Tuesdays, participating students are being greeted with water and chocolates upon their arrival at the cultural institution. In addition to these welcoming treats, the museum is also providing dedicated guide facilities to help the visiting students navigate the extensive historical and cultural exhibits during their educational tour.

The impact of this new policy is already drawing participants, as evidenced by a recent group visit to the venue. More than 50 students and teachers from Daffodil International School attended the museum to take advantage of the newly established program and explore the national repository.
