The meteorological department has officially issued a river port warning accompanied by temporary squalls and rain across several regions of the country. According to the official forecast bearing the signature of meteorologist Md. Abdul Hamid Mia, authorities have instructed river ports in the specified areas to hoist warning signal number one.

The advisory outlines specific regions that are expected to be affected by the adverse weather conditions. The areas placed under this meteorological warning include Pabna, Jashore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, and Cox's Bazar.

Residents and authorities in these designated regions have been advised to remain cautious as the weather system approaches. The forecast indicates that the atmospheric disturbance will bring noticeable changes to local conditions, impacting river transport and daily activities in the affected areas.

According to the detailed meteorological data released with the warning, the weather system is capable of producing temporary gusts and squalls. Wind speeds during these temporary squalls are expected to range between 45 and 60 kilometers per hour.

In addition to the strong winds, the affected regions of Pabna, Jashore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, and Cox's Bazar are very likely to experience accompanying rain or thunder showers as the system moves through.
