Approximately thirty drug addicts receiving treatment at a rehabilitation facility in Brahmanbaria have successfully escaped from the premises, according to recent reports. The incident took place at the Proyas Drug Addiction Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, which is situated in the Fulbaria Bus Stand area of the Brahmanbaria district.

Authorities and local observers noted that the mass departure unfolded during the midday hours. Specifically, the event occurred around noon on Wednesday, August 19, catching staff and individuals nearby off guard as the patients executed their coordinated departure from the multi-story building.

According to the confirmed details of the incident, the group of approximately thirty individuals managed to exit the facility by utilizing a specific method of egress. The patients reportedly climbed out through the windows located on the third floor of the rehabilitation building.

After making their way through the third-floor windows, the escaping individuals did not stop at the immediate ledge. Instead, they scaled down and leaped across to the roof of an adjacent building, successfully utilizing the neighboring structure as a pathway to flee the area completely.

News of the escape at the Proyas Drug Addiction Treatment and Rehabilitation Center has since been documented and broadcasted by Channel 24. As the situation continues to unfold following the Wednesday afternoon breakout, local authorities and the center's management are dealing with the aftermath of the mass departure from the Fulbaria Bus Stand location.
