YouTube Launches New Integration to Let US Creators Tag Amazon Products
YouTube has rolled out a new integration with e-commerce giant Amazon in the United States. Eligible creators can now tag products directly in their content to earn commissions.

YouTube has officially announced the launch of a brand-new integration in partnership with e-commerce giant Amazon, marking a significant expansion of social commerce capabilities for digital content creators based in the United States.
Under this newly established feature, eligible creators operating within the United States will now have the direct ability to tag a wide variety of Amazon products seamlessly across multiple formats of their content, including traditional videos, short-form Shorts, and live-streaming broadcasts.
The integration introduces a direct monetization pathway for participating content creators. Whenever a viewer clicks on and subsequently purchases one of the tagged Amazon products featured within the creator's content, the creator will earn a commission from the resulting sale.
However, participation in this lucrative affiliate offering comes with specific regulatory and programmatic prerequisites established by the platform. To successfully utilize this new tagging feature, creators must be officially registered and active in both the YouTube Partner Program and the YouTube Shopping Affiliate Program simultaneously.
This strategic collaboration between YouTube and Amazon bridges the gap between video entertainment and digital retail, offering US audiences a more interactive shopping experience directly through the content they consume daily while providing creators with an additional revenue stream.
