Tinkers Tea has officially launched its operations in 2025 under the leadership of founder and chief executive Tincar Jannat. The brand introduces three core varieties and is expanding availability through major retail outlets across the country.
The tea brand 'Tinkers Tea' has officially marked its entry into the market in 2025, setting a new milestone in the region's beverage industry. Based in Sreemangal, Bangladesh, the enterprise is led by founder and chief executive Tincar Jannat, who has built her professional career starting back in 2014, culminating in a journey spanning nearly 12 years.
Reflecting on her deep connection to the industry, Tincar Jannat shared her perspective on the cultural and personal significance of the beverage. She noted that tea is not merely a drink, but is intimately intertwined with the soil, the people, and cherished memories. Explaining her roots in the sector, she added that Sreemangal is her husband's home, and her husband's family has been involved in the tea export business for several decades.
Addressing the challenges of entrepreneurship, Jannat emphasized that building a good brand requires financial investment, but establishing human trust requires character. She remarked that if she had sought the easy path, she might never have started Tinkers Tea in the first place, describing the enterprise as a deeply personal vision, stating that it is not just tea, but a dream. Furthermore, she highlighted her unique position in the industry, stating that to her knowledge, she occupies an exceptional place among women serving as founders and chief executives in the tea business in Bangladesh.
The newly launched enterprise introduces three main product offerings to consumers: Premium Gold Tea, Special Black Tea, and Special Green Tea. To cater to diverse consumer preferences, the products are made available in multiple packaging sizes, including 100-gram, 200-gram, and 400-gram packs. Pricing for the brand's offerings begins at an accessible entry point of 85 taka, while the product lineup also features a special gift box priced at 40 taka.
As part of its ongoing growth and distribution strategy, Tinkers Tea is set to expand its market reach significantly. According to the brand's confirmed plans, Tinkers Tea will very soon be available for purchase at major supershops such as Shwapno and Unimart, allowing a broader consumer base to access the Sreemangal-based enterprise's expanding selection of teas.
