Photo Exhibition for 'An Apple Tree Inside the Head' Opens in Dhaka

A special photography exhibition focusing on the making of the film 'An Apple Tree Inside the Head' officially commenced last Tuesday at La Galerie of Alliance Française de Dhaka. The cultural event offers visitors a unique visual journey behind the scenes of the cinematic production, highlighting the moments, efforts, and artistic processes that shaped the film during its creation.

The feature film at the center of this exhibition has been directed by filmmaker Fazle Rabbi Mridha, whose creative vision is showcased through the displayed photographs. These images document various stages of the filmmaking process, providing audiences with an intimate look into the development of the motion picture within the gallery space.

This exhibition has been jointly organized by Gupe Bagha Productions Limited and Views and Vision Production. The collaboration between these organizations brings together the necessary support to present the behind-the-scenes photographic documentation to the public in the capital.

The inaugural ceremony of the exhibition was graced by several prominent figures who attended the opening event. Among those present at the launch were Dr. Manas Chowdhury, Joyita Mahalanobish, and Jasim Ahmed, who participated in the opening proceedings at La Galerie.

In addition to his presence at the opening, Jasim Ahmed is actively involved with the project's production team. He shares production responsibilities alongside Arifur Rahman and Bijon, who are all officially credited with the production of the film.

The exhibition opened last Tuesday and is scheduled to continue welcoming visitors through next Saturday at Alliance Française de Dhaka. Art enthusiasts, film lovers, and the general public have the opportunity to view the collection throughout the remainder of the week before the event concludes.
