On September 12, 2026, a significant job fair specifically for non-governmental organizations was successfully held at the Jashore PTI premises located in Jashore. The event was officially organized under the initiative of the Microcredit Regulatory Authority, commonly referred to as the MRA, to create employment opportunities within the sector.

The venue witnessed an overwhelming response from the public as more than ten thousand enthusiastic job seekers congregated at the Jashore PTI premises to explore various career prospects. This massive turnout highlights the high demand for employment opportunities among the local population seeking positions within the development and microcredit sectors.

A total of thirty-six microcredit-distributing non-governmental organizations and development agencies participated in the fair by setting up dedicated stalls. These participating entities included notable organizations such as RRF, Jagorani Chakra Foundation, and AARS Bangladesh, alongside others operating under the regulatory framework.

Organizers of the recruitment event have established a clear target to recruit more than five hundred personnel across the participating organizations during the fair. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between job seekers and microfinance institutions requiring a dedicated workforce to expand their operational reach.

Several distinguished individuals were associated with the broader context of the event, including Professor Dr. Mohammad Helal Uddin, Nure Alam Mehedi, Abdul Mannan, Khan Masum Billah, Philip Biswas, Marina Akhter, and Shamsul Alam. Their presence underscores the institutional importance placed on addressing unemployment through structured NGO recruitment drives in the region.
