As part of the preparations for the diplomatic gathering, extensive security arrangements have been heavily reinforced across Delhi. These elevated security protocols and operational measures are slated to remain strictly in place for three consecutive days, covering the period from the 11th of September through the 13th of September.
A notable visual alteration has been implemented in the Vasant Vihar neighborhood of New Delhi. Specifically, authorities have erected large blue and white screens directly around the perimeter of the Kul Camp slum area, concealing the settlement from public view during the international proceedings.
This particular method of urban concealment during major global summits is not unprecedented in the Indian capital. A strikingly similar action was previously undertaken in the exact same location during the year 2023, when New Delhi hosted the high-profile G-20 summit.
