In an unusual turn of events in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, a husband has willingly arranged for his wife to marry her former lover. The situation unfolded nearly a year after the woman had initially left her husband's home to travel to Hardoi, where her former lover resided.
As the woman's whereabouts became unknown following her departure, concerned family members took formal action by filing a missing persons report at the local police station. Law enforcement authorities immediately launched an investigation into the disappearance to locate the missing individual.
Using technological tracking methods, the police successfully traced the woman's mobile phone location. Officers located her staying with her former lover in Hardoi and subsequently brought both individuals to Malihabad for further proceedings.
Upon their arrival, formal discussions were convened in the presence of members from both families. During these deliberations, the woman clearly stated her preference, expressing that she wished to live with her former lover rather than return to her husband.
Respecting her stated wishes, the husband ultimately agreed not to force his wife to stay with him against her will. He demonstrated remarkable understanding by consenting to her marriage with the man she desired.
Following the agreement reached between the parties, the woman and her former lover were officially married at a local temple, participating in traditional Hindu rituals to solemnize their union.
