Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) has officially launched a comprehensive month-long entrepreneurship development program in Madaripur, marking a significant step toward fostering local business growth and economic capability. The opening ceremony for this specialized training initiative took place on August 24, drawing attention to regional capacity-building efforts and enterprise development within the area.

The month-long program is being implemented under the broader framework of the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP), an important governmental initiative overseen by the Ministry of Finance. Financial backing for this extensive training endeavor is provided by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), highlighting international cooperation in strengthening domestic industrial skills and enterprise competitiveness.

A total of 26 aspiring and established local entrepreneurs are actively participating in this intensive development program. These participants have been selected to undergo specialized training designed to enhance their business acumen, operational capabilities, and overall management skills throughout the duration of the month-long course.

Key figures associated with the implementation and oversight of the training program include Mo. Masum Billah, A. K. M. Tareq, Mohammad Wasim, and Monju Kumar Dey. Their involvement ensures the structured execution of the curriculum, which aims to equip the local business participants with the necessary tools for sustainable enterprise management and long-term economic success.
