Football governing body FIFA has confirmed that the 2030 FIFA World Cup will be hosted across three different continents, marking a unique and expansive global footprint for the prestigious tournament. The matches for this landmark sporting event will be distributed among a total of six countries, bringing together diverse regions of the world to celebrate the beautiful game on an unprecedented international scale.

As part of the tournament's unique opening schedule, the first three matches of the competition will be played in South America. Specifically, these opening fixtures will be hosted in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, honoring the historical roots and centenary of the international football championship.

Following the opening matches in South America, the main body of the tournament will transition to Europe and Africa. The core games of the 2030 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by Morocco, Portugal, and Spain, creating a dynamic multi-nation partnership that bridges the Mediterranean Sea.

To prepare for its crucial role as a joint host, Morocco is undertaking major infrastructure developments within its borders. In the Benslimane region of Morocco, located 60 kilometers away from Casablanca, preparations are well underway with the construction of the brand new Hassan II Stadium to welcome international fans and teams.

This ambitious stadium project in Benslimane represents a massive financial investment of 12 billion dollars. Upon completion, the state-of-the-art sports facility will boast a colossal seating capacity of 115,000 people, positioning it as one of the premier venues for the 2030 global tournament.
