Mastul to Screen at Shilpakala Academy on August 15

The Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy's Department of Theatre and Film is organizing a special ticketed film exhibition featuring three distinct motion pictures. The upcoming cultural event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 15, offering cinema enthusiasts an opportunity to experience local filmmaking at the prestigious venue.

As part of this curated film exhibition, director Mohammad Nuruzzaman's movie 'Mastul' is scheduled to be screened during the evening slot. The special screening will begin at 6:00 PM at the National Theatre Hall auditorium, located within the premises of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.

Organizers have set the admission price at 100 taka per ticket to ensure accessibility for interested viewers. Tickets can be purchased in advance through digital platforms, though specific administrative cut-off times have been established for the online transactions.

According to the event guidelines, online ticketing operations will officially conclude at 1:00 PM on the day of the exhibition. Any remaining seats that are not booked online will subsequently be made available for purchase directly at the Shilpakala Academy ticket counter, subject to availability.

Director Mohammad Nuruzzaman expressed optimism regarding the audience response, noting that the volume of tickets already sold online has been encouraging. However, he also pointed out that it remains to be seen how many tickets will actually be left over for purchase at the physical counter by the end of the day.

Extending his appreciation to the host institution, Nuruzzaman remarked, “I am once again expressing my thanks and gratitude to the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy for such an experiment.” He further cautioned prospective viewers that waiting for counter tickets might lead to disappointment, advising those genuinely interested in watching 'Mastul' to secure their entry beforehand.
