Kenyan author Emmanuel Muchui has successfully completed a continuous 73-hour reading marathon, marking a significant milestone in his efforts to promote a reading culture. The grueling literary challenge took place at the Nuria Book Store, located in Nairobi, Kenya, drawing attention from book lovers and supporters alike.

During the course of the demanding 73-hour event, Muchui remained dedicated to the task of reading continuously. Organizers and monitors closely tracked his progress throughout the marathon as he pushed through the fatigue associated with such an intense endurance challenge.

To help him manage the physical toll of the extended event, Muchui was allocated a specific amount of rest time. Rules and guidelines for the challenge permitted the Kenyan author a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes for breaks during the entire duration of the reading marathon.

Despite the challenges posed by the lengthy endeavor, Muchui successfully reached the completion of the 73-hour mark at the Nairobi bookstore. His successful completion of the marathon serves as a notable local effort to encourage and inspire a broader reading culture within the community.

Reflecting on his experience and looking toward the future after completing the event at Nuria Book Store, the Kenyan author expressed his determination regarding global milestones. Muchui stated, "পরের বার নিশ্চয়ই বিশ্বরেকর্ড ভাঙব," signaling his intent to take on even greater challenges in subsequent attempts.
