Jahangirnagar University to Host Jaksu Job Fair and Career Summit 2026
Jahangirnagar University will host the 'Jaksu Job Fair and Career Summit 2026' on September 11, 2026, offering more than 700 employment opportunities. Organized by the Jahangirnagar University Central Students' Union (Jaksu), the event features BRAC Career Hub as the title sponsor.
The Jahangirnagar University Central Students' Union (Jaksu) is officially organizing the upcoming 'Jaksu Job Fair and Career Summit 2026' on September 11, 2026. The major employment and career development event is scheduled to take place at the grounds adjacent to the TSC on the university campus.
Ferdous Al Hasan explained the motivation behind the initiative, stating that university students frequently miss out on desired employment opportunities due to a lack of necessary skills. To address this specific challenge, Jaksu has taken the initiative to organize the comprehensive job fair and career summit.
Providing further details on participant eligibility and event activities, Ferdous Al Hasan noted that the summit is open to all students, ranging from first-year undergraduates to those who have completed their honors and master's degrees. Human resources representatives from various corporate organizations will be present on site to collect student CVs and provide crucial guidance regarding the skills required for modern employment. Furthermore, participating companies will offer direct employment opportunities to candidates whose qualifications match their requirements.
The extensive recruitment drive brings together more than 25 corporate institutions, collectively offering over 700 distinct job opportunities across 700-plus available positions. This large-scale professional gathering aims to bridge the gap between academic education and the corporate sector for the university students.
A diverse group of prominent companies and organizations is participating in the 2026 summit. These include Pran, RFL, Walton, Acme, Nescafe, Polar, Ifad, New Zealand Dairy, Everest Pharma, Brilliance Red Chili, and UNICEF.
To ensure the successful execution and broad reach of the initiative, BRAC Career Hub has joined the event as the official title sponsor. The collaboration is expected to enhance the professional development resources available to attendees throughout the summit.
