On Sunday, the Iranian military announced a significant financial reward targeting members of the United States military. According to the details provided, a bounty of 30,000 US dollars—equivalent to 5 billion Iranian toman—has been offered for anyone who kills or captures an American soldier and hands them over. The announcement was detailed by the official news outlet IRNA, highlighting an escalation in regional tensions involving Iranian and US forces.

Major General Amir Hatami, the chief of the Iranian military, made the announcement regarding the monetary bounties and outlined specific conditions for the rewards. In addition to the standard payout for neutralizing or capturing US personnel, General Hatami stated that if an Iranian woman were to successfully carry out this act, the financial reward would be doubled.

Furthermore, the Iranian military leadership addressed the weaponry used in these potential operations against American forces. It was officially declared that any weapons utilized in the killing of a US soldier would be bought back by the authorities at double the price, and new weapons would be provided to the individuals in question.

During his statements, Major General Hatami also issued a direct warning regarding regional waterways and maritime access. The military chief asserted that the United States no longer possesses permission to enter the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman, or the strategic Strait of Hormuz, underscoring Tehran's hardline stance on foreign military presence in the area.

The announcement from the Iranian military command comes amid a backdrop of ongoing friction between Tehran and Washington. While specific operational details and the total number of affected personnel remain part of the broader geopolitical standoff, the latest declarations from the Iranian armed forces mark a notable and provocative development in the region.
