Google Drops Visible AI Watermarks While Keeping SynthID

Despite the elimination of these visible markers, Google has assured users that the core identification mechanisms will remain fully intact. Specifically, the company will continue to retain its proprietary invisible watermark, known as SynthID, alongside other essential identifying information embedded within the digital files.
In addition to the removal of visible watermarks, the corporation is preparing to roll out this new capability to users globally. According to the company's announcements, the updated feature is scheduled to officially launch and become available to the public within the next few days.
Alongside these modifications to its watermarking practices, Google is also expanding its suite of digital tools by unveiling a brand-new software application. This newly introduced program, which has been named 'Credencio', represents the latest addition to the company's growing ecosystem of technology products and services.
